Use the current schedule

The UK vaccination programme changes and schedules can depend on date of birth. Follow the live NHS schedule below and your GP practice invitations, rather than an old printed chart.

Before the appointment

Bring your child’s health record and tell the nurse about allergies and previous reactions. If an appointment was missed, contact your GP about catching up.

  • Check your invitation and health record.
  • Ask about expected side effects.
  • Find out who to contact afterwards.

After the appointment

Your vaccination team can explain expected reactions and age-appropriate care. Follow their medicine instructions. Seek urgent help for a severe allergic reaction or a baby who seems seriously unwell.
